Kagura, drawn to tears at the fact Kyo is actually there, bursts into the room where Kyo and the others are. Kagura's idea of a warm welcome goes off with a hit, some smashings, and lastly a broken house. Once she comes to her senses, she realizes that Kyo has been beaten into a bloody pulp. As Kyo's battle scars are being tended to, Kagura reveals her love for Kyo and also that the people cursed with the zodiac can hug each other without changing. Kagura makes her intentions to marry Kyo and not let anyone come between them quite clear.
Hanging her uniform outside to dry, Tohru hears someone on the roof and goes to check it out. It turns out to be Kyo in hiding from Kagura. Apparently the intense feelings of love are not returned. Kyo and Tohru start talking about dreams and Kyo gets into a enthusiastic conversation about training in the mountains. Thinking that Tohru is bored, she attempts to prove otherwise by showing him her amazing martial arts technique that she knows.
The next morning as Kagura is leaving, she runs into the paperboy. Yuki blocks the fact Kagura changes into her zodiac animal… the boar! Tohru tells Kagura that she wants to fall in love like her someday. Of course, Kagura takes this as she wants to fall in love with Kyo and Kyo has to suffer because of it, but in the end she leaves without too much being destroyed.
The next day at school, Tohru checks out some books from the library to help her better understand Kyo and Yuki. Her teacher calls her to the office for a phone call-it's her grandpa. At home around the table Tohru tells them all that she received a phone call from her grandpa as they all look at her with shocked faces. What does this mean for our happy family? What did her grandpa have to say to make everyone so shocked?
