Tohru and Yuki are enjoying a home-cooked meal while wondering when Shigure and Kyo are getting home from their outing. They soon figure out they are home because their entrance causes quite a commotion. Kyo was upset about the fact that Shigure tricked him into taking a high school entrance exam for Yuki's school at Akito's orders since Kyo had run off to train for four months and been out of school. Not only is Kyo going to be staying in the same house, but now the same school too!
The next day at school, everyone causes quite a scene over the new Sohma in class. Just as popular with the ladies as Yuki, Kyo finds himself in a situation and "runs" out of school. Yuki goes after Kyo to school him, but Tohru interrupts, turning Kyo into a cat. Kyo's temper gets the best of him and he takes it out on Tohru.
Back at the house, Kyo talks with Shigure about his temper and how Kyo feels that he is not capable of socially interacting with people. On her way home from work, Tohru is startled by who she thinks is a pervert, but as it turns out it's only Kyo coming to walk her home as a means of apologizing. In the end, Kyo spits out the best apology he can muster, and he walks Tohru back to the house where they all share a happy family meal together. Well, as happy as one can have a meal in Sohma house.
