Description: After the death of both of Tohru's parents, she finds herself alone and living in a tent in the woods. On her way to school, Tohru runs into a house and meets her fellow classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousin Shigure. Later that night, Yuki and Shigure discover than Tohru is living in the tent on their property! After a sequence of events, Tohru found herself living with the Sohma's and being their housekeeper. Tohru has a very generous nature and a kind heart. Tohru helps to bring light in the dark, cursed Sohma family.
Personality wise, Tohru is a very kind girl. She does not want anyone to hate her, in fact, she wants to get along with everyone. She always has a smile on her face even when she doesn't feel well. A few characters have tried to dislike Tohru, but none have succeeded in the end. Her irrestiable charm melts the cold ice around their hearts.
Tohru is a fantastic cook and brings to the Sohma house exactally what they need: Good food, cleanliness, and a way to escape their curse even if it is only for a bit. Despite her clumsiness, Tohru is the model housekeeper.
