Description: Uo is a friend to both Hanajima and Tohru. Once a Yankee, she idolized Kyoko Honda, Tohru's mother as she was the famous Red Butterfly. Upon meeting Kyoko, she found that she had changed and with the influnce of Kyoko, she gave up her Yankee lifestyle. Along with Hanajima, her goal is to protect Tohru in every way possible.
Love: Arisa, throughout the course of the manga, finally gains a love interest! None other than Kureno Sohma, the rooster! They met at her part-time job as a convience store worker and it was almost instant chemistry. He is an older man, but that doesn't stop this love from blossoming... But will Akito's overprotection of Kureno stop them dead in their tracks?
Friendship: Arisa is very close friends with Tohru and Saki. It is an inseparable trio of friends. Arisa is very protective of both of her dear friends and as a former Yankee, she can do it quite well. She worried tremendously when she found out that Tohru had been living in a tent and was now living with the Sohma family. She felt badly that she couldn't do more to take care of her daughter of sorts. She also watches out for Saki such as the time the Yuki fan-girls were interviewing Saki at her home.
Along with being friends with Tohru, that makes her inevitably connected through the Sohma family. She has an interesting relationship with them especially with Kyo. It is most definitely a love-hate sort of relationship! They get into arguments quite frequently, but they definitely do not hate each other. Arisa gets along with Yuki just fine; it's really hard to not get along with him. She also hangs out with the other Sohma's once they start attending the same high school. So she gets along with Momiji and Hatsuharu well too. Her relationship with Kyo is by far more entertaining though.
